Bhagavad Gita

तेषां ज्ञानी नित्ययुक्त एकभक्तिर्विशिष्यते |

प्रियो हि ज्ञानिनोsत्यर्थमहं स च मम प्रियः ||

Chapter 7 Verse 17

Of these, the wise man, ever steadfast and devoted to the One, excels; for , supremely dear am I to the wise and he is dear to me.




Bhagavad Gita

यो न ह्रुष्यति न द्वेष्टि न शोचाति न काङ्क्षति |

शुभाशुभपरित्यागी भक्तिमान्यः स मे प्रियः ||

Chapter 12 Verse 17

He who neither rejoices nor hates nor grieves nor sesires, renouncing good and evil,full of devotion, he is dear to me.

कायेन मनसा बुद्ध्या केवलैरिन्द्रियैरपि |

योगिनः कर्म कुर्वन्ति सङ्गं त्यक्त्वात्मशुद्धये ||

Chapter 5 Verse 11

The Yogi, abandoning attachment, performs work with the body, the mind, the intellect and the senses only, for self-purification.

Bhagavad Gita

येsप्यन्य्देवता भक्ता यजन्ते श्रध्द्याsन्विताः |

तेsपि मामेव  कौन्तेय यजन्त्यविधिपूर्वकम ||

Chapter 9 Verse 23

Even those devotees who, endowed with Sraddha, worship other Gods, worship me alone, O son of Kunti, by the wrong method.

Bhagavad Gita

तम विद्याददुःखसंयोगावियोगं योगासंज्ञितम  ।
स निश्चयेन  योक्तव्यो योगौSनिर्विण्णचेतसा ||

Chapter 6 Verse 23

Let this discrimination from union with pain be known by the name of yoga.This yoga should be practised with determination and with an undistracted mind.
